PSYCHOTHERAPY
We provide a variety of psychological assessments including psychoeducational, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments.
PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENTS
Psychodiagnostic Assessment
Comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments help clients to better understand themselves and identify the possible presence of mental health disorder. This type of assessment is helpful for individuals wanting diagnostic clarification and/or treatment planning and recommendations.
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) AssessmenT
ADHD assessments focus on assessing for the presence of ADHD symptoms (difficulties with attention and concentration and/or hyperactivity and impulsivity) and executive functioning difficulties. This type of assessment is helpful for individuals seeking clarification for ADHD and/or treatment planning and recommendations (including medication consultation with a treating physician and workplace/academic accommodations).
Psychoeducational Assessment
Psychoeducational assessments help clients understand their cognitive abilities, information processing skills (memory, attention, and executive functioning), and academic achievement, while taking into consideration behavior and social emotional functioning. This type of assessment is helpful for individuals seeking clarification regarding learning disorders, intellectual disabilities, or giftedness, are struggling academically, or having broader problems with attention, memory, or academic skills.
We provide case consultation to health care and community treatment providers. We also provide clinical supervision to masters and PhD students who are currently enrolled in a clinical psychology program, or psychologists in supervised practice seeking autonomous practice with the College of Psychologist of Ontario (CPO). Please refer to individual clinicians for consultation and supervision opportunities.
